Production Process For Paper Egg Trays

Eggs are a fragile commodity consumed both commercially and locally. One challenge, though, is storage and transportation. Previously, there were plastic trays used to hold them. However, in searching for environmentally friendly products, manufacturers came up with paper egg trays. The principal device used to make them is the paper egg tray making machine. It comes in varying models, all suitable for different work setups. There are manual and also automatic versions. All of them assume a similar mode of production. The raw material, waste paper, go through four steps to achieve completion. Manufacturers can either acquire them locally or in bulk from recycling companies. Below is detailed information on what takes place in the four phases.

Pulping Stage

Pulp making is the first and crucial step in production. The pulping system comprises some machines to execute the different duties. Some of these include a source of water, a pulp beater, and a pool. The attendant will feed the raw materials to the system by inserting them in the empty collection. After that, there will be an addition of water in appropriate amounts. An excess amount can make the second stage inefficient and also timely. The next step involves beating the waste paper to form a consistent mixture. The process is continuous. Otherwise, it will result in the production of substandard paper egg trays.

Molding Stage

The second stage of the egg tray production line is molding. At this level, the size of pulp molding machine can determine the output and the size. Except for egg tray machine, you can also find egg carton box making machine on the market. Once pulping gets achieved, the material gets deposited into transportation pipes. The tools will then convey the mix to the next system. The molding system features formation molds in varying sizes, designs, and colors, depending on the client’s requirements. The pipes will discharge the pulp onto the molds fully. There is a vacuum machine onsite to eliminate any air trapped within the material. The pulp then takes the exact shape of the molds. Immediately after, you use an air pump to blow them off. It is the last part of the molding stage.

Drying Stage

The egg tray dryer is the third step in production. You can use different systems depending on the quantity of production and the types of machines at hand. The first and most economical is natural drying under the sun. It is cheap but only ideal for small scale capacities. The other two involve metal and brick drying systems in Beston Company. Both come with a conveyor belt to allow for even distribution of heat. They are convenient but also expensive. You can use them for large and medium scale industries. Upon exposure to the heat, the paper egg trays will sufficiently dry.

Packaging

It is the last step in production. Here, there is a hot press. The paper trays go through it to gain a more defined look. The activity allows for the stacking of many pieces in one storage material. Upon completion, follows transportation to the different clients. Below is an egg tray machine video for your reference.

As seen above, the production of paper egg trays is a complex process. Beston pulp molding machine is fully automatic, which will make it easy to operate. Check the link here to find more details: https://bestonasia.com/paper-egg-tray-manufacturing-project-report/.
